ABOUT ME

Dr. Shu-Ting (Tina) Hsieh, CCC-SLP

Owner/Founder

Tina was born and raised in Taiwan until the age of 14. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Syracuse University. In 2024, she earned the degree in Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in California.

Tina has a passion and experience working with children with a variety of speech and language needs including autism, early intervention, gestalt language processing, augmentative and alternative communication, stuttering, articulation and total communication. Tina is also dedicated to working with bilingual children.

In 2017, Tina started SLPTalk because she found a lack of resources in the field that were written in Mandarin. She started sharing speech and language resources and speech therapy materials in Mandarin Chinese on the website and various social media platforms. More information can be found on the Resources page.
